In 2000 kwam Roriz ook in de top 5 van de Wine Spectator terecht met 95/100 punten.
"This is really fantastic. Wonderful aromas of grapes, berries and cherries. Full-bodied, medium sweet, with wonderfully refined tannins and a long, long finish. A gorgeous wine. Best after 2014" 2,000 cases made.

In 2003 kwam Roriz als tweede na Noval Nacional in de Wine Spectator met 97/100 punten
"Big and concentrated,with a massive tannin structure and loads of very sweet fruit. It goes on and on on the palate. Very impressive and muscular. This single quinta really excelled in 2003. Great pedigree, too. I once had the 1865 Roriz and it was fantastic"
