Grappa di Brunello
di Montalcino
Brunello di Montalcino is a very prestigious wine that has been
the pride of the Italian wine production over the last years. It
is characterised by its unrivalled fruity scent that adds to the
pleasure of tasting it. The grappa maintains most of its characteristics.
It is distilled in steam alembics and it is followed by some months
of maturation in stainless steel containers.
Colour: Colourless and crystal-clear
Nose: Light scent of red fruits, red currant, and cherries
Taste: Supple, round, and harmonious.Vanilla and spice flavour
Serving suggestions: Straight at 12/14°, or chilled
Vine: Sangiovese, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon

Nonino Chardonnay Barrique
Grappa is het meest oude en traditionele distillaat van
Noord Italië.
De vaste bestanddelen van de druif ofwel later de pulp,
wordt gebruik voor het distillaat. In roestvrijstalen tanks worden
de druiven gefermenteerd onder vacuüm en gecontroleerde temperaturen.
Spoedig volgt de distillatie om secundaire fermentatie te voorkomen.
De Chardonnay Barrique ondergaat een rijping van 6 maanden tot 1
jaar op kleine houten vaatjes, zonder toevoeging van smaken. De
productie van Grappa is gelimiteerd en afhankelijk van de individuele
oogst.

De Nonino distilleerderij
is uniek in de wereld: men beschikt over maar liefst 66 stoomketels
voor de productie van de Nonino grappa's en UE's. Dit stelt het
bedrijf in staat om direct na persing en fermentatie te distilleren.
Om het unieke karakter en de beste kwaliteit van de verschillende
distillaten te waarborgen, produceert Nonino alleen tijdens de wijnoogst,
24 uur per dag.
Nonino produceert alleen haar eigen Nonino distillaten en niet voor
derden.

After centuries, Cleopatra the Alchemist finally distilled Gold.
Cleopatra, alchemist of the Ancient Egypt, created the first still aimed at distilling the most precious among metals, gold, and called it Crysopea (from Greek chrysos, gold and poirò, to make).
In the XXI century, after years of research, at the Poli Distillery a new Crysopea was born again, the most innovative bain-marie vacuum still in function nowadays through which the precious Poli Moscato ORO kept in this bottle has been distilled.
Cleopatra Oro is a Grappa obtained from very fresh grape-marc, featuring a refinement and a bouquet rarely found in a distillate. A brief stay in oak barrels completes its structure.
